For those of you who have been following this blog about Aura, I recently embarked on a creative journey using this incredible app. I started by generating an image in the anime style, specifically the "Neo-Tokyo Mage" theme. The result was stunning.
Next, I decided to take it a step further and bring the character to life. I visited a website that allows you to animate images, and within minutes, I had generated my very first 5-second video. My goal was to create a short clip where she performs some subtle dance moves while maintaining her enchanting aura.
The process was surprisingly easy. All I had to do was upload the image, resize it as needed, and provide instructions for the animation. In less than two minutes, the clip was ready—and it was mesmerizing.
But then I thought, why stop there? The animation was so captivating that I wanted more. So, I generated a second video, starting from where the first one ended. The experience felt like building a music video but with AI. The possibilities are endless, and you’re in complete control of what happens next. For the second clip, I chose another soft dance move to keep the mood consistent.
This whole process inspired me to try something new—I decided to experiment with iMovie for the first time. As a developer, I don’t usually dabble in video editing, but I couldn’t resist. I combined the first two clips and let my creativity flow.
Of course, I couldn’t stop there. I generated a third clip, this time with a specific request for more intense dance moves. The result? I was blown away.
She began dancing with more energy, and the effect was stunning—powerful and high-quality.
The only thing I regret is that, for now, it’s still limited to a 16:9 landscape format. I can’t wait for the day when I can bring this to the website in other formats.
What should I do next? Introduce other characters? I’m thinking about creating a scripted story. The possibilities are endless, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.
